We Just Launched DomainTrawl (and You Can Get Early Access)

After months of quiet building, testing, and caffeine-fuelled iteration, we're excited to share what we've been working on: DomainTrawl.

DomainTrawl is a new kind of domain search tool. It’s fast, flexible, and built for founders, creators, and domain hunters who want to go beyond the usual generators and discover ideas that feel fresh and brandable. You can explore hundreds or even thousands of domain options in seconds using a unique format we call the Domain Search Language (DSL).

We’ve soft-launched on TinyStartups.com and the response so far has been fantastic. We’re now starting to roll out invite-only access. If you’ve got a code, you’re in. If not, you can join the waitlist at domaintrawl.com.

What is DomainTrawl?

DomainTrawl is a smart bulk domain search tool that helps you find available domains using structured prompts. Instead of typing one idea at a time, you can search whole categories of ideas in one go.

With DSL, you can write things like:

{types of animal}ai.com

…and instantly get ideas like tigerai.com, hawkai.com, or beetleai.com — all checked in real time.

You can also use arrays like:

{words that indicate speed}build.[com,ai]

This lets you generate and check a full list of names with almost no friction. Whether you're naming a startup, brainstorming side projects, or just curious about what’s out there, DomainTrawl makes it fast, creative, and actually fun.

Why We Built It

Most domain tools feel slow, generic, or limited. They give you ideas, but not control. They check domains, but don’t help you think. We wanted something smarter. A tool that could match the pace of our ideas, give us instant feedback, and feel like a creative companion, not a gatekeeper.

So we built DomainTrawl to scratch our own itch, and now we're opening it up to others who feel the same way.
